I said to myself that I would do something when the followers of this blog hit 50... And now it's here.
I guess I could be all nostalgic about starting a blog (*sniff) and it would never have been possible without [rattle off a long list here]. (*sniff *sniff) Thank you thank you...

But really now, thank-you:-)

It means a lot that there are people out there who read this titbit of cyber-babble in the midst of the blogosphere which contains thousands... wait... no way! Over 50 million blogs :-o
And that was in 2006...
When you put it into perspective, that means that there are millions of internet users too, so it makes sense that all blogs have opportunities to get-a-life.

That's actually what's so brilliant about the world wide web. It connects people from around the world who would probably never have met otherwise. It brings groups of like-minded people into blogs and forums where they can discuss their passions and interests. On the internet, there is bound to be someone who is feeling a similar emotion to you or thinking about the same band as you. There is bound to be a community of people who want to hear what you have to say (for whatever reason) and are prepared to listen and engage in forums on the topic. Sure, it's not always sunshine and roses, but you can be guaranteed that if it's sunshine and roses you want to speak about, it will be there on the internet.
