*Fantastical night*

It's time for the night-time version of Afrika Burn!

As I have mentioned numerous times, Afrika Burn is a festival/event that is full of vibrancy and colour. Now, if the beautiful imagery of the daytime isn't enough, how about the spectacular visions of the night?

Night time at Afrika Burn 2011 brought fire, dancing, firedancing and, although it was close to freezing cold at night, much merriment (the fires really did help in that respect).
These crowd scenes that my camera managed to capture really bring out the atmosphere.

The burning of things really is beautiful to watch. I know... It may seem like I have a pyromaniac streak but I don't! There is something special about setting something alight and watching it burn *grin* (a few song references come to mind right now... "we didn't start the fire" amongst others).

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... A burning [wooden] tire! This looked really brilliant as you can see below. We danced inside this 'tyre'- before it burnt. Haha. Afrika Burn  is not that kind of festival... Lol.

And... Here is the most splendid burn of all. Somebody created two spinning sculptures. It looked like two people dancing and it was absolutely mesmorizing to watch. This was a showstopper indeed.

The image below is a long exposure of that same burn. Or it could be a long exposure of fire dancing. Either way, I love long exposure!

*Happy Fire - I mean... - Friday*
Have a splendid weekend.
Burning Love from me to you!!!

Thanks for dropping by:) I agree, even something as simple as fire in a fireplace is beautiful to watch. The flames are very hard to capture(via camera or canvas) so nothing beats actually being there.
    Have an awesome weekend too!

@ Multibrand: Thanks for the follow! I'll definitely visit your blog too. Keep well:D
