Gift from a Creative Mind

I was so excited to receive the mail on Saturday, because...

I got an awesome package from my dear blogger friend TJ Lubrano! It was amazingly exciting to win the giveaway on her blog and ten thousand times more exciting to receive it. Yippee!!!

TJ is a really talented illustrator and you can follow her journey at A Look in a Creative Mind where you'll be entertained by her rambles and blown away by her illustrative style. What I like most about TJ's Illustrations is their whimsicality and sense of joy. Her cupcake fetish (*_*) has led to a cool cupcake illustration which appears on one of her business cards (see below) and I love it because (well, because it makes me crave cupcakes!) it's overflowing with charm.

Don't you think TJ's Illustrations are awesome?

Love the business cards TJ! Such a fan of the cupcakes too:D

 Thanks TJ!

Personal news

Hello readers,

The last time a fresh post graced this blog, was, well, a long time ago. The reason for this neglect might get an "awe, we forgive you" from the crowd, or even a "oh... erm. Didn't realise you were gone. erm, but it's cool that you're back. Really..." (at least you're making an effort, reader;)

Well, today there is good news and then there is even better news: Which one do you want to hear first?

I'll go with the good news, which may be a mixture of good and bad, but it's always good to be an optimist.

Through the plains of gnawing-at-fingertips, the sleepless nights, the angst, the stress, the confusion, the dread, the exhilaration, the challenge, the bucket that I did not kick...

 I passed. Passed? Passed.

So now all those feelings of strangeness, dissolve into one thing, okay, two things, okay... three things:

Relief, Joy, Excitement.

You probably want me to elaborate on the aforementioned strange emotions, right? Don't worry, my fingertips are still intact;) But basically, I went through the end-of-the-year turmoil that is exams, and came out with a pretty good feeling for next year, and then... I got sick, but not just me, my parents also. It was a stomach bug and hence, there was a bucket next to my bed (okay---too MUCH information!), and that is one bucket I am very glad I did not kick. Erm.

Don't worry, I was nowhere close to dying:) And luckily it was over in a few days.

Now, for the even better news:

Blogging!

Can anything really elaborate on that? Dunno. Basically, and hopefully, blogging will really go places this December, and I have lots of plans that I'm dying to share with you. I won't share them yet though, because it might be a bit premature to chat about things that haven't happened yet. Don't want to jinx it.

Happy Thanksgiving to the ones who celebrate it!

(it's not really a thing in my country)

So, how have you been? Do you have more time now that it is the end of the year? Aren't you awfully relieved? Or are you still pretty stressed?

If you are, please save your fingertips:)
